The Federation's Greatest Threat May Be From Itself...
The year is 2396, eight years following a
devastating war with the Romulan Star Empire, at a time
when the Federation is crippled and desperate. Star
Trek: Fractured Federation tells the story of the intrepid crew of the
U.S.S Marauder, and their quest to save the fracturing Federation from the
fearful Newsi Empire, bent on conquering the galaxy.
Their journey will
be complicated by the growing corruption within the Federation, whose
leaders seem more willing
to join the Newsi than to fight against them. The growing mistrust and
disagreement within the Federation has caused a major division
throughout the once perfect organization, resulting in the formation of
several factions. During their journey, they will discover that the
Federation’s greatest threat isn’t from the Newsi, but from itself.
The commanding officer of
the Marauder, Captain Randy
Hoffman, has deep connections with the leader of the
Newsi Empire, Travis Steffen.
Both of them grew up together on New Earth, and have been life-long
enemies. Randy's entire family was killed by Travis, who framed
the murders on Randy;
first his parents, and then his wife and children, which will
fuel his quest to stop Travis and the Newsi.
