Sato is the Enterprise's translator and very important
to Archer's crew. Captain Archer recruited her into
Starfleet as she was teaching foreign language in
Brazil.
Hoshi
is very friendly and dislikes the idea of space travel,
it makes her sick. She stays aboard the Enterprise
because of her enjoyment of learning and speaking new
languages.
Hoshi
fears the unknown and doubts her ability to remain
aboard the Enterprise, however eventually gets around to
tolerating space travel and learns to volunteer on
missions. Hoshi is envied by Commander Tucker and
several other officers for being able to go on almost
every away mission, however she feels much differently. |
